Warranty Information:


All of the products we offer for sale are genuine and are manufactured by Blata in their new facility in Europe. The products are built to the highest specifications. Each component and complete assembly is exhaustively tested to ensure it passes our stringent quality control procedures.

The bikes are all individually serialised for full traceability.

Road Legal Bikes

Two Years Warranty

The warranty period starts from the date the bike is purchased, for a period of 24 calendar months for:-
¢ Engine
¢ Main Frame
¢ Rear Sub-Frame
¢ Swing Arm
¢ Front and Rear Wheel (excluding bearing & seal)

Warranty for remaining parts is for a period of 12 calendar months under the Warranty Terms.

Off-Road/Track Products (Mini & Midi Moto's / Quadards)

As the products are off-road machines there is a limited warranty offered on the range of bikes of 30 days for the engine only.

The warranty is invalidated if:
: The serial number is not able to be clearly read.
: If improper fuel or oil is used.
: If spare parts have been fitted that are not of genuine Blata manufacture.
: If the Bike has been used for racing, competitions or promotional purposes.
: If the bike has been used under rental agreements.
: If the claim is made outside of the warranty period.

The warranty shall not apply to damage caused through accident, fire, misuse, neglect, incorrect adjustment or repair, damage caused through adaptation, modifications, or use in an improper manner or is inconsistent with the technical and/or safety standards.

The warranty shall not apply to tyres, inner tubes, spark plug, drive chain, sprockets, wheels, brake pads, clutch shoes, or other parts of a limited natural life.

All warranty claims must be returned for inspection of parts before replacement.


Warranty Terms and Conditions


Terms of Warranty

Parts will be supplied under warranty provided:-

¢ The identification marks correspond with all documentation.
¢ The motorcycle has been maintained in accordance with the service schedule and Owners Manual.
¢ The Service Manual has been stamped by an authorised Blata dealer.
¢ Reasonable care has been taken with the bike and it has only been ridden within the intended scope of the bike's capabilities.
¢ No non genuine accessories have been fitted which could contribute to any claims.
¢ Claims occur within the warranty period.
¢ Any Claims are reported immediately to the supplying Blata dealer
¢ The warranty is not transferable
¢ Replacement parts is limited to 12 months for selected components - refer to Warranty Period section for details

What is Not Covered

The warranty shall not cover:-

¢ Any bike fitted or repaired with non-genuine parts, by unauthorised personnel
¢ Any bike modified from its original specification
¢ Bikes used for competition or ridden 'off-road'
¢ Serviceable/consumable items which would be replaced as a matter of course during the life of the motorcycle. Such items include, but are not limited to, filters, gaskets, lubricants, spark plugs, brake pads, clutch plates, batteries, bulbs, tyres/tubes, chains and sprockets.
¢ Damage or breakages as a result of miss-use or abuse
¢ Repairs or work conducted by unauthorised personnel.
¢ Fuel or fluid contamination
¢ Any cost associated with scheduled services
¢ Transportation to and from a dealer
Any incidental cost which may arise while the motorcycle is being repaired under the warranty terms. This includes, but is not limited to alternative transport, communication costs, compensation for inconveniences

Customers Responsibility

The customer/owner of the bike has the responsibility of the care and maintenance of the motorcycle, including:-

¢ Maintaining and caring for the bike in accordance with the Owner's Manual and Service Schedule.
¢ Riding the motorcycle in a responsible manner, without miss-using or abusing it.
¢ Transport of the motorcycle to and from a Blata dealer for any service work,
¢ adjustments or warranty claims
¢ Any investigation for a warranty claim which materialises to be an invalid claim. Eg disassembly of parts/engine etc.
¢ Informing a Blata dealer of any suspected issue as soon as possible (within a max. of 10 days) preventing the possibility of aggravated damage.
